Here’s a great tip, sent in by [Martin]. He has put together this extremely compact bundle for an animated 8×8 RGB LED range with a small footprint. It is managed by an ATMega16 powered by 2 little lithium cells. While it may not be rather as little as the area invader button, it seems to have a bit much more animation horsepower.
